The clear part of clotted blood. Let it clot, then separate it.

How to collect and send it
- Separate the serumSpin or let the clot settle, then pour off the serum.
- Keep chilledKeep it cool, 2 to 8 °C, in a cool box with an ice pack.
- Send the same daySend it to the laboratory on the day it is collected.
Preparation. Separate the serum soon after clotting, keep it chilled and send it the same day.
