Stained blood film examined under the microscope for blood parasites such as Babesia, Theileria and Anaplasma, and for changes in the blood cells.

- EDTA blood or a fresh thin blood smear on a clean slide
- Preparation
- Make the smear within an hour of collection, air-dry it and do not heat-fix it. Send slides in a box, with a tube of EDTA blood if you can.
